About Healthy Paws
Healthy Paws offers quality accident-and-illness coverage with no annual limits for payouts. This is ideal for customers who want this type of coverage because they won’t have to worry about maxing out their claims.
Healthy Paws is best for pet owners signing up for coverage when their pets are young. Deductibles go up and reimbursements go down for older animals, and hip dysplasia isn’t eligible for coverage. If you are looking for a policy that will help with expenses for your senior pet, Healthy Paws is not the best choice.

Our Verdict
Overall, Healthy Paws pet insurance receives 3.5 out of 5 stars for this review. While it offers competitive pricing and no coverage limits of any kind. When you may need coverage the most is when your options are decreased. There are no options for wellness care add-ons to policies. The ability to have claims paid directly to your veterinarian, however, is a huge plus.
Healthy Paws is a good choice for new pet parents who wish to enroll their pet for emergency coverage within their first years of life. For older pets, there are better coverage options.

What is nice about Healthy Paw is that there’s no annual limit or limit per illness. Illness, hospitalization is covered but consultation and follow ups after surgery is not. Follow ups should be part of “illness” making sure pet is recovering well, in my opinion. So what insurance would you consider is the best one compared to Healthy Paws.
