The 9 Lop-Eared Rabbit Breeds

If you are not familiar, the term “lop” refers to ears that droop over instead of standing erect on a rabbit’s head. There are many different breeds of lop-eared rabbits and many different varieties of the ears themselves.

Lop ears do not necessarily have to touch the floor. They can also be medium-length or short. The only prerequisite is that they must flop over most adorably. Let’s take a look at these breeds.

1. Miniature Lop-Eared Rabbit

The miniature lop-eared rabbit is a tiny breed in the bunny kingdom. These rabbits have short, soft fur and are sweet-natured. They make excellent pets and require little maintenance. That said, they can develop health issues that you should be aware of so you can spot them if they come up.
